I
love having my fur-kids around me wherever I am, but I can definitely do without the odor that they sometimes leave behind…like when life happens and I don’t bathe them.
I use to use TONS of store-bought fabric freshener, but these days I’m trying to be better to my family, our bodies and our atmosphere in terms of pollutants and chemicals.
I make my own NATURAL fabric spray and you can too! It’s completely safe for the environment, your family and your fur-kids (spot test furniture to be safe and use your noggin…this is not meant to spray directly on your pets!).
Here’s the recipe:
Mix 1/4 cups of distilled water with 1/2 cup of rubbing alcohol (or white vinegar) and 20 drops of your favorite organic essential oil (I love orange!) in a 12 oz spray bottle. Shake it well, and then spray over your pets favorite sleeping/lounging spots.
Spray away!
