We operate professionally and successfully with more than just a solo sitter. Our sitters are local bonded, insured, background checked pet professionals that have come to us with experience from local vets, the Kentucky Humane society and local rescues.
We do not over-book. We have enough professional pet sitters and focus on QUALITY care, not quantity.
All clients get to meet their sitter and under normal (non-emergency) circumstances their sitter is the ONLY sitter in their home. IF there IS an emergency in your absence, we have an Emergency Backup Plan so you rest assured that your pet will never, EVER go unattended because we are not working solo.
Below are a few helpful tips to help you prepare for your holiday pet care.
Your TO DO List:
In order for us to be able to provide excellent care for your fur-kids we must first meet you and have you in our client service management system. Here’s how to get started:
1. CONTACT US
CLICK HERE to give us a little information and to get a professional profile set up for you in our client service management system. We will immediately call you, schedule your dates and times, collect a deposit and send you a confirmation email with a username and password so you can fill out your very own profile with all the information we need regarding your pets….which brings us to step 2…..
2. FILL OUT YOUR PROFILE
Please log in, read and accept our General Service Contract terms and conditions and enter your payment information, home and fur-kid(s) information on our secure website. This will insure that we have your address and accurate information about your fur-kid(s), routine, feeding instructions, home instructions, medication, emergency contacts, payment information etc.It is important to note that we cannot provide care without a completed profile or if payment information is not entered.
3. MEET US
Once you have updated your profile we need to meet you and your pet(s) at a “Get Acquainted” appointment (if we have not done so already). This meeting is important in that it allows you to make sure we are a good fit for you and your fur-kids. It is free if services are contracted. Flexibility is a must when scheduling the free meet and greet. As pet sitters we are already in the busy season and committed to visits previously booked. Call early for the consultation so a time may be worked out that fits both our schedules.
AT YOUR “GET ACQUAINTED” MEETING YOUR PET SITTER WILL:
1. Verify your home and pet information you have provided in your profile
2. Answer any questions about our services and policies
3. Collect keys or methods of entry into your home (we cannot accept only garage door openers as the only method of entry into a home)
4. Review your schedule
5. Answer any questions you may have
To hold your booking, you will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit for holiday bookings. Reservations are not guaranteed until payment is received.
