Our professional pet sitting & dog walking services provide a safe and healthy alternative to boarding or kenneling your furry friend. Meet Us at Your “Get Acquainted” Visit

Get Acquainted Visit

Your Get Acquainted visit is so important to your Paws Pet Care sitter meeting your expectations that we cannot serve you without it! The goal of this meeting is for the client to explain all the home and pets routines and make sure both parties are the right fit. During this time, the profile we requested that you fill out will be reviewed between client and client sitter. It is important that the client fills out their online profile completely prior to the meeting. The cost of this visit is $25. This will be refunded if you choose not to go with our services. Subsequent visits are $25.

FREE Medication Administration

Depending on your companion animal’s needs, we will in most cases be able to help with medication administration such as administering pills and some injections. However, medically fragile cats or other companion animals, (that require injections or medication for survival) should be under the care of your personal vet or a veterinary professional. Please make sure that you discuss this in detail with your pet sitter at your Get Acquainted Visit.

FREE Vacation Services

For our client’s that are traveling out of town or abroad your Paws Pet Care pet sitter will gladly set out your trash cans and pull them back in, rotate blinds, turn lights on/off, keep your houseplants watered, do security walk-throughs and more! Make sure you request these free services at your Get Acquainted Visit with your pet sitter.

Quick Potty Breaks

Time: As Long As It Takes Your Dog(s) to Potty
Pets: Dogs only
Includes: Let out in a fenced yard or on leash to potty. For apartment/condo dwellers we will leash up and take your dog down to a common area on leash to potty. Includes fresh water and treats and a photo update. For MORE time, or extended potty/playtime, see our PLAYTIME service.

Private Dog Walks (No Pack Walking)

Time: Your Choice of 20 or 30 minutes
Pets: Dogs Only
Limitations: 1-2 Dogs (from the same household) per walk. Dogs must be properly leash trained. No tugging, pulling, lunging or aggressive behaviour. Weather permitting.
Includes: Leash Up, Walk, Fresh Water, Treat, Photo Update

Cats, Bunnies & Other Small Mammals

Time: Industry standard is 30 minutes, but because some cats/rodents/small mammals are non-social and refuse "playtime" or "enrichment", this is up to the discretion of the sitter and the client. Visits that exceed 30 minutes will be adjusted and priced accordingly.

The Paw-Jama Staycation - Overnight Visit

Time: 10 Hour Overnight Stay
Pets: All Companion Animal Types
Includes: Evening and Morning Routine, A Midday Drop In, Sleeping in YOUR home with your pets, Light home care (mail, plants, etc).

Price Per Stay:

Standard Overnight - 9 p.m. - 7 a.m. PLUS a midday Potty Break For Dogs

Paws Pantry Pickup

We handle the last minute "oh no, we're out of food/litter/meds" moments so you don't have to
Price: $50 per trip, plus the cost of supplies (a credit card must be on file for this service)
Limitations: Dependent upon scheduling/availability
Includes:

- Pickup of pet food, litter and supplies
- Delivery directly to your home
- Optional restocking (fill bins, refresh stations)
- Photo confirmation of delivery

Additional Key Pickup/Return Visits

Time: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Includes: Key pickup and return. Key/entry arrangements should be made at your Initial Consultation (we call it the "Get Acquainted" visit) to avoid this service charge.
