Carrie is from New Albany, Indiana and has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Ball State University. She has an extensive professional background in accounting and business management.

She comes to Paws Pet Care with many years of pet sitting experience in the Southern Indiana area. Her promise to you is to provide the utmost quality care that promotes the continued good health and happiness of your pets, to build trust and confidence with you and to ease the worry that your “kids” are safe and happy while you tend to life’s simple pleasures or life’s responsibilities. Her heart belongs to senior pets and she has many years of experience attending to senior pet needs.

Carrie has volunteered for Animal Care Society and she supports the local efforts of our hard-working rescue organizations. She has had pets since childhood and currently has two rescued dogs at home, Rosie and Roscoe, who will join her as office assistants.

Carrie is detail oriented, safety conscious, attentive, observant and committed to the Paws Pet Care Mission and excited to bring professional pet care to Southern Indiana.

Karen is a graduate of Indiana University Southeast, with a degree in Nursing. Retired after over forty years as a pediatric nurse.

Karen is a lifelong resident of Southern Indiana and is also a lifelong devoted pet owner and pet rescuer. She currently shares her home with her husband and a Golden Retriever and a black cat all are rescues. She has had the pleasure of caring for and saving many animals over many years and wants every pet to have a fun fulfilling experience with her as a sitter.

Deb S.

Deb resides in Jeffersonville, Indiana where she shares her home with her two Goldendoodles, Lily and Jozie, who work with her as certified therapy dogs.

Deb has a degree in Education from the University of Louisville. She is a Recreational Therapist at a local physical rehab hospital and has been instrumental in the development and growth of the Animal Assisted Therapy Program.

She raised both of her dogs from pups and has provided much of their training. She started early in life with sitting for pets of friends and family members; pets that include dogs, cats, horses, ferrets, birds, turtles and even a chinchilla.

In her free time, Deb enjoys competing in Triathlons, and often takes her “girls” along on her training runs. She looks forward to being a companion to your pets when you need her, and will even take them on a run if you like!

Hi! My name is Donna McMillen. I was born and raised in Louisville KY. I love my job working for the Convention Center dealing with people but my passion is to take care of animals. There is no greater love than being there for pets. The unconditional love is out of this world.

I currently have a husky mix that is 11 years old as well as take care of a full blooded Siberian Husky. They are not just my furbabies but my family. I love spending time with my babies and give them all the love that they give to me as well. They love their walks and I love being outdoors with them.

An animal is just not a pet they are your family and I will devote my love, compassion and time to your pet as I would do my own. It is a big responsibility to take care of someone’s else animals and be in their home and I will not let you nor your family down. You can count on me to give 110%.

I look forward to meeting you and showing you I am there for your furbabies as you would.

Jennifer R.

Jennifer is a self-proclaimed country girl who loves the outdoors. She grew up helping her dad with boarding and training horses, mucking stalls and doing chores on their property in Floyd County, IN. Her passion for animals started young and she had various pets including rabbits, cats, dogs, and her own horse.

In 2017, Jennifer graduated from Purdue Veterinary School and is now starting her career as a Veterinarian. Dr. Jennifer has an emphasis on large animals (mainly horses) and has pets of her own. She has an Australian Shephard who she runs agility with and a domestic cat who she has also trained to do many tricks including sit-up and speak.

Her life is truly dedicated to animals and she will care for yours as a part of her extended family. And, she might just teach them a trick or two!

Hello! My name is Amy, and I grew-up in the Louisville area. I am the proud mother to Eli (cat) and El Diablo Poco (chinchilla). I also spend lots of time with the Family baby, Wylie (Bloodhound). I am an experienced house and pet owner (dogs, cat, chinchilla, and hermit crabs), as well as sitter (dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, rabbits, turtles, fish, snakes, and birds), who believes that our fur babes deserve the best care.

When I have free time, I enjoy being with my family and friends, hiking, backpacking, camping, live music and of course, being with animals.

My name is Brittany. To give you a brief backstory: I am recent to this community, having moved here in December of 2017, from a small town two hours west of here called Owensboro, KY. It was a wonderful area, but I was seeking to expand and broaden my surroundings. I have an endless passion for caring for all things. My daughter, Emma, who is six years old, being at the top of that list, along with three cats and one doggo of my own. They all make my life completely fulfilled. We live in an adorable home built in 1948 with lots of character.

Upon arrival in my new area, I took the first job opportunity that I landed, working in a communications center, I stabilized my income, and then familiarized myself with my new foundation. Now that I feel completely comfortable and am ready to move forward with my plan of action on my life journey, I am looking forward to loving and caring for your sweet and precious pets. And, I am unbelievably ecstatic to do so. My favorite things consist of running, yoga, writing, painting, photography (music and art completely move me), and chasing/guiding my little human through her days. It’s a beautiful thing seeing the world through her eyes. She keeps me the best version of myself in countless aspects. We grow, together, to become more caring, compassionate, genuine, and kind. She keeps me present and connected.

I am on my feet and stay very active and I love every minute of it. I am dedicated, adaptable, and am very attentive to detail and I excel in organizational skills. This helps me to maintain a productive and flexible schedule, both at work and in my home life.

So, it is with great pleasure and gratitude to be able to care for what you love, just the same as I take care of what is precious to me.
